10 ways to brand your office walls and conference rooms in a fresh, modern, and innovative way

From complementing decorative styles conducive to your type of business to “functional” graphics that serve a business purpose, any business can use this guide to generate ideas that would work in their own office or business.

1. Wall Logo Decals

Sometimes the most basic idea serves the purpose best. You really can’t go wrong with having your logo made into cut vinyl decals and strategically placed on your office wall space. There really is no quicker way to brand the interior wall of your business. Can’t afford to invest in a dimensional lobby or office sign just yet? Logo decals are a great alternative to that. You can even opt for specialty vinyl materials that have unique finishes to them, such as chrome or brushed metal.

2. Frosted Vinyl Film

Frosted vinyl film is used on glass and window surfaces. It gives an “etched glass” appearance and has a very sleek and classy upscale look to it. It can be used purely for aesthetic purposes or can serve a function. It can be used as a privacy method for offices and conference rooms as shown below.

3. Decorative Mural on Perforated Window Material

Perforated window vinyl or “window perf” is material containing tiny holes in which you can see out but other cannot see in. These are great for windows in your office that open up to the outside of your building. You can still have a decorative mural that covers the entire window space but still be able to view out of it. It also has an added benefit of keeping the harsh glare of the sun to a minimum. (provided your mural design utilizes dark colors covering the space of the window).

4. Wall Murals

Wall Murals are bold and make a statement. Whether it is a landscape panorama used to compliment the décor of your office space or a direct reflection of an aspect of your business, it stands out in a bold way.

5. Text Decals

Sometimes you don’t necessarily need something fancy or decorative and instead are looking for something that serves more of a direct purpose in your office, such as directional instruction decals to help people find their way around the building or location identity. Text decals can also be used to supplement existing decorative accents, signage or décor. Another popular trend right is to have inspirational quotations reflective of your business style as a wall accent.

6. Canvas Murals & Prints

To further enhance the overall décor and style of your office space, canvas murals are a trendy and chic way of adding some personality or character to the interior space. You can place them almost anywhere. You can hang them in individual office, conference rooms, or hallways. You can do multiple images hung side by side or in a artistic and decorative format such one large mural design split into 3 or 4 canvas mounts.

7. Accent Decorative Decals

While not appropriate for some corporate offices, there are some office environments where accent decals for decorative purposes would be fitting. While it may be a bit “kitchy”, if it’s done tastefully and in an appropriate setting, it can work.

8. Floor Graphics

There is a multitude of innovative and creative ways that floor graphics and decals can be utilized in an office or corporate space. The sky really is the limit with floor decals or entire floor wraps. You can do a subtle decorative design to compliment the tone and style of the rest of the office, incorporate more of your business branding, or be big, bold, and colorful and serve as the focal point of your space.

9. Multi-Purpose Dry Erase Wall Murals

Dry erase mural graphics are great for businesses and conference rooms. They not only add branding and style to the wall space, they can also be designed to act as a functioning business tool such as demonstrations during meetings, announcements, charts, etc. Just the sheer novelty of it makes your business appear instantly cutting edge and modern.

10. Desk Vinyl Wraps

Leave no stone unturned! As with using logo decals in lieu of dimensional signage if the cost is a little too out of reach for your business, a desk “wrap” would be a great alternative to a reception desk or office desk dimensional lettering. You can do the whole desk or just a large focal point decal. Desk wraps are also great for hiding nicks and other small damages to your office furniture that perhaps you aren’t ready to replace just yet. You can easily revamp office space this way.

As you can see, there is no shortage of ideas and surfaces you can add graphics to in your interior office space. Now that you have more of a sense of how many options there really are to brand and style your office space, you’ll find yourself saying “Ok.. What else can I wrap or put a decal on…?
